honestly, i don't even know exactly what to say. this nikke event already messed me up from the first few chapters. learning about rapi's past makes her personality and demeanor completely understandable
seeing rapi interact with her squadmates was kinda fun, but sad at the same time, since she was clearly afraid of attaching herself and getting emotionally fucked later.
sometime rapi would just be straight up drax from guardians of the galaxy, but her squadmates, little by little, would start to see the tiny bit of personality that rapi has
the first part of the story was the most emotional to me, but the second also had it's great moments. it felt so good seeing rapi interact with red hood, and how that gave rapi a real 'personality'.
rapi experiencing how it is to teamup with red hood, and then quickly trusting her and get inspired by her was amazing, but sad at the same time as we all knew how this would end.
puting the 'emotional' behind, it was also interesting to know that the core that powers the raptures, is linked to a similar core that powers the ark. if one is destroyed, the other is destroyed too. i can see this being a major plotline on the future, i just wonder how exactly shiftup are going to explore this.
at the end of the event, that scene that also became the lobby wallpaper unlocked after completing the event, being a direct reference to the loading screen, showing how much rapi has changed, just warmed my heart
if people saw nikke past the eyecandy, they would find an amazing game with cool characters and excelent story for a gacha gaming, and this event is just one of the many instances where this get's proven right
